Rose Festival Arts and Craft Show

AlexiaJean will be at the Rose Festival Arts and Crafts show this year! It is going to be October 18 and 19 at the Rose Garden in Tyler, Texas. Stop by after the Rose Parade to see my products in person and start your Holiday shopping early! I will have Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Hairbows, and well as designer burpies and bibs, dresses, and hairbow holders for sale.

Look what I did....

I caved. I am a Longhorn fan, but I caved when I was asked to make a dress for an A&M fan. Here's what I did:

New dress pattern

I love these cross-back dresses! These three have been fun to make and are totally reversible! These are my "samples" that I experimented on, so they are not perfect. I got my pattern down and am now ready to stock them in my etsy store.

And.... introducing AlexiaJean bloomers! I can make bloomers to match any dress design, including my pillowcase dresses now. See photos below.

Happy Birthday America (and me!)

It is great to know we live in a country that we can do our art as free as we would like. I can make whatever I want to make with my free time, and I have my time with the Lord while I'm doing my crafting. Another wonderful thing about living in America. I am free to worship my Lord, and He gives me a mix of talents that no one else in this universe has.

AlexiaJean is back

and ready for business! I have seven patriotic dresses in the works, and will be getting them up on etsy before the weekend in over. I have missed my sewing machines so much over the last two weeks. (We moved, again. Now we are settled and I can get back to my soothing hobby - creating!)

Modeling Session

I got to have my friend's daughter as a model over the holiday weekend. It was fun! I loved seeing a human being wearing my creations! Here are the highlights.
